Hmm. That's a very dark map there.

Where are you gonna put your mini map?

That barrier in the middle island does nothing but give an advantage to whoever holds the black region. All the other central island regions have four borders where it has only three. So might as well save some trouble on it.

And if you're really after a three person CAPS game, then each of the three islands can really only have ONE connection line a la the Caribbean map. Otherwise you'll have to divide up your cap to maintain your bonus on the island, which would defeat the purpose.

And the connection lines or the territories on the island regions need to be reworked because the spacing would be difficult for caps as they stand now.

First, well done, with a little tiny bit of guidance, you have made a map with a good idea of it's intended concept, something I lacked on my first attempt here.

You will be getting feedback for many things perhaps you didn't expect or weren't aware of and before this will become a used map at D12, it will undergo many changes, so I hope you have everything separated in layers in your master file?

I will never bombard you with too many changes at a time, just the ones that need to be changed first before any other unnecessary graphic work is undertaken that could cost you lost time.

I'm not saying these things won't get changed again when others comment on the map or give suggestions, but it is a start down the right road. Some of which will save you work and some that will allow others to see where you are going with it.
Things you might want to consider if looking to save a lot of rework are; fairness to all 3 players with regard to the order of the territories on each Cap island and how easy or hard each will be to conquer and defend. If one player can use and move his cap troops to take the bonus island region where as the others can't, to name but two.
I would put a graphic example up, but you seem more than capable and eager to do the graphic work and more than able to comprehend suggestions. Again, well done, good progress!

I don't have much time so I'll just comment that I think the minimap can fit pretty clearly in the map as is. Can't try though a 5 min sketch :S
Living proof that everyone can be a brilliant great good decent cartographer.

Thanks aeronautic, I will post an update soon and yes, I do have everything seperated in layers(haha that would be terrible if I didn't). Also, I think I might try fitting the minimap on the eastern side and if all fails I will remove the smaller island and Everett.

Only spent maybe 5-10 min on this part but here is a minor update.

(roughed up the red region too much oops

Ignore last one, this one's red region is a tad better and I added in a TERRIBLE looking minimap just to show it can fit.

Thank you for moving the Fenfell island connection from Solaria to Platon. I think it allows a bit of breathing space for the Green and Purple Islands creating a bit more fairness & less chance of being spawn blocked.
Tristania island connection (click to show)
Selphine island connections (click to show)
All these little adjustments to game play, will possibly make the game experience much less frustrating and more enjoyable to Cap players and might make your map the most popular 3p Cap's map at D12.
Attack routes (click to show)

General 3p Capitals gameplay; nobody is going to want to take extra bonus regions that will block their routes to other Cap's and as long as there are always more than 1 territory bordering each of the central island regions and these territories are in front of the main off-cap troops, they will be unable to keep their main troops off their Capital in any territories other than either end of their Cap island connection lines, e.g. Glandrael or Platon and will be unable to block another player for cards.

It's a bit ironic that you have an island named "Malum" meaning evil or death inside of the country named "Vita" whose Latin meaning is life/prosperity

I'm going to be honest with you, I'm not feeling this map at all...maybe it's because of its odd shape, or maybe it looks too simple for the site. I can't put my finger on it but what I do know is it won't help if you put too much effort on the graphics because that feeling will remain...

Sorry but this is the hard truth..
