Aeronautic is right about the names of the territories. I checked the continental part:

LORLEF should be LORIENT
SAINT MORALIA should be SAINT NAZAIRE (I guess)
BAYEUX must be westerner than CAEN, so it would be better to call it BERNAY
LOVAL should be LAVAL
VISRE should be VITRE
MONTES I don't know... CHARTRES ?
ARRIS may be is ARRAS, but it looks dislocated, could be CHARLEVILLE
BRUSSELS is far from the sea, I suggest GENT
BELGIUM is the name of the state, I suggest BRUSSELS
RUNDSTEDT is a road of Frankfurt, I have no idea why is there!
VEZELAY is a very little village... maybe it's better AVALLON or AUXERRE

The whole map is compressed not only UK, and also a bit rotated.

I love it, being the history nerd that I am! Although England is indeed very squashed. I can't wait to see this concept finished and I can play it!

Perhaps the Beaches should be their own continent? It doesn't really make sense to me to have all the other beaches in the blue and poor Utah all alone in black. Or maybe a special like +2 bonus for holding all the beaches? And shouldn't ST. MALO just be ST. LO? Bishop, isn't Gent spelled with an H like Ghent? I just watched Monuments Men and that's how they spelled it there and on a WW1 1916 map that I was using as the base for a map I was going to do for Conquer Club. In addition, Rundstedt would be okay to use. I think that was where his HQ for OKW was anyway.

Ops sorry, yes the English name is Ghent, I didn't know that. Gent is Dutch (and FYI in French is Gand).

Negative, St. Lo is not there is more Northern, almost in the Utah territory. St. Malo is correct.

Yes, he was a German Field Marshal. OKW stands for Oberkommando West, basically the top German command in Western Europe.

Put bridges from Rommel to Rouen and Troyes to Ruhlivers. And maybe divide ruhlivers into two territories? I'm pretty sure there's bridges all over the place if you're worried about historical accuracy. There's always bridges, everywhere ;P

Where did Thorpe go? This map was looking really good.

Thorpe is no longer active on the site. I'm afraid that as far as I know, we don't have the source file for this map and if we ever get time to make it, it will have to be from scratch, unless you have some hidden graphic skills and would like to make a new one with a fresh approach MJ?
