No matter what Risk site you crawl into…
no matter how deep you hide…
no matter how many games you mute…

you can’t escape them.

The Dice Complainer

They’re not just players. They’re… something else.
A separate evolutionary branch of the D12 ecosystem.
They’ve always been here. Watching. Rolling. Complaining.

Statistically speaking, your best friend could be one.
Your teammate. Your ally.
…you.

For generations, science has tried to understand them.
Entire labs have been funded. Careers ruined.

- Where do they come from?
- What triggers the first complaint?
- Is it environmental… or does it activate at the first 3v1 loss?

More importantly:

Should dice complainers have the same rights as the rest of us?
Should they be allowed to marry non-complainers… or is that how it spreads?

We don’t have all the answers.

But we’ve made progress.

Hood you are hilarious ^^ And what about a categorisation breakdown for people who complain about dice complainers? ;)

I can be guilty of a petulant remark in the game chat, especially if I miss a kill due to statistically improbable dice :) All part of the game I choose to play - randomness is surprisingly streaky. Same happens playing over the board, and metaphorically in real life :)

Oh my God this is so good! LOVE IT! Well done Hood!

And I feel like I have done MORE than my share of complaining over the years. But I like to think I've cleaned that up a bit. This is so good though.

Also, I totally agree and relate with Virtuosity too. :)

Ahahahah wow, nice post! "This-dices-are-broken" syndrome, I didn't know there were scientific studies on this.
There are people that once every ten fail a 90% shot, and every time it's "unbelievable" !! :D
