I did the same thing first round of games. I had a plan to shut down the three players strategies and it was actually working perfectly until one player quitted which costed me the whole game because I couldn't find a response. But I have learned that I must think about these things for this round of games.

Anyone else in the tournament do this?

Also remember that while I set the attendance score high to try an avoid players who habitually miss turns for one reason or another, don't plan your strategies solely around what other players 'might' or 'should' be doing. Always try to be prepared for the unforeseen as anything can happen:)
