1. What do advanced cards mean?
Usually when you kill somebody, you can only hand in a set if you have five or more cards after the kill. With advanced cards, you can hand in whenever you have a set, even if you only have three or four cards after the kill.

2. I read in the forums about a team tournament. Are teams part of the game mechanism? Because I can't find anything when making a lobby.
This mode is currently in beta. Team games can only be made by a selected group of players.

3. I read in the FAQ that there is a Kings game mode. Is this a planned future feature?

4. Are there any plans to make the fixed card cap be host's choice instead of a permanent 8?
You can look into the capped card game mode. This is very similar to fixed cards in terms of gameplay, but instead of starting at the cap, the go up as in increased games until they reach the cap. The host can choose what this cap is. There are no plans in making the fixed turn in type be customizable as well.
