Are lifeinpixels and oliver cheaters?

I've played 20 games with Oliver and 45 with Life and wouldn't consider either a cheater. Oliver's play is little weird considering the card value and the fact that he only gets 7 cards and theres no guaranteed double turn in. I assume he thinks the third player will keep someone from killing him though.

With keeping the bashing on Simeon, he too has suicided on a game I was clearly ahead on. lol. That one for sure he suicided on so everyone's points were returned except Simeon's. Well Oliver has been known to suicide and try to team up with an other player. Take a look at this game:http://www.dominating12.com/?cmd=game&sec=play&id=194261 Look at the chat from the beginning, clean hands? I don't think so. I reported him but of course nothing was done about this situation because the players in the inner circle are never in any way made to follow the rules. He also has made it clear that I am not allowed to enter games that he has entered and if I do he just revenge-attacks me until I'm defeated. The only time he hasn't done this since the above game was in the D12 games because then it would be obvious he doesn't think the rules apply to him. Life spouts BS all the time and can't be trusted in any way shape or form but a regular cheater, mmmmm I'm not sure. But it sure looks suspicous in the game you showed Bishop but that could be just because life usually looks for an ally that he can use to get ahead. It's not exactly teaming like in my example but sometimes is pretty close. And 1 last thought and this goes for most long-term players: I think it's allmost inevitable that over time certain players trust each other more than others and as a consequence you get players to tend to make more alliances with each other or leave their mutual borders less defended then they otherwise would do. That is just a result of playing many games with the same players and learning that some you can trust more than others. You can't avoid this but it does contribute to many of the newer players thinking of the top players as elitist and having cliques. BUT there is a fine line between favoring the devil you know and teaming and clearly it is being crossed quite often. When you start to see proposals like in the above game where 1 player suggests they leave each other alone and start making arrangements about how many armies each will use and who to attack then clearly the rules have been broken. Life is a moderator but seens to have a very limited knowledge of the rules at best and gladly turns a blind eye in this case.

@Villain - Well, the double turn-in with 7 cards is almost sure, and it is sure when you hold a wild or [u]cards of 3 different colors[/u] since we cannot know if oliver had a [u]sure[/u] double turn-in or not. But the possibility of a failure on dice was surely greater, as I said it was 27% according to my calculation. Why to take a risk like that? I cannot understand. Nothing to gain in case of success and the game thrown away in case of failure... Notice that really the failure was higher than 27% because if oliver would have killed me and protected his cap with only 15 troops it would have been a failure as well. But why he was so confident to take a risk like that? Still I cannot understand. Plus, if oliver tried to win the game by bonuses, why to give false explanation: he said he killed me because lifeinpixels was blocked in (gulp! false and not enough as an explanation), why not to say the truth? One more thing I cannot understand.

I am sorry Bishop because I don't think in any of them as cheaters; I guess I wouldn't have done oliver's movement (but I did similar ones with sets just a little bit higher). From my point of view, it doesn't make sense coordinate these attacks because it only can be one winner, unless you teamming quite often with the other player, and I haven't seen oliver and life doing this. What I didn't like at all was the game that bluebird posted; attacking the weakest player with some other strong player in the game is a strategy I also do, but never using the chat for it, and I don't like other doing this. With experienced players movements speak much louder than words; though the result will be the same I think there is a huge difference.

A variety of lame excuses were then used in the chat, some risk lessons & life lessons were pushed on me using rank and experience from people born when I as working and from those I beat with 100% success in the last team tournament. The action was purely designed to give lifeinpixels a shot at winning the game or at least surviving, because he was doomed if he had to do anything by himself and the result is currently as they desired. A weak pathetic looking aeronautic, who really can't say anything anymore as he hasn't got any strength left to prove he is worthy of the elite players here. To add insult to injury, he has just had the audacity to ask me to give up a territory that will allow him to have another bonus region that he quite openly cheated me out of with his 'patsy' (in this game) Wise! Now here's the thing that should really expose the whole brotherhood thing they have going on, if he insists on forcing me to give it up, Oliver will be able to break his bonuses and start his demise. Therefore, I am refusing to allow it so that he would have to expose himself to attack from a player who is supposed to take advantage of it if playing to win. But here's what will really happen (you need the game open to see what I mean), Oliver will come through and finish Wise off (who pretty much suicided himself on me) and have the lower right Region first taken from me, then lifeinpixels will take the 2nd Region taken from me and they will claim that it would be bad strategy to attack each other as there are stronger players on the table and they'd lose too many unnecessary troops. Everyone will agree with them and give them a pat on the back for being so darned clever! None of you will have the benefit of seeing the table before all this occurred and will probably never get what I claim to be a team effort. The annoying thing is, that they left another equally strong player untouched! "we weren't next to him" will undoubtedly come out of their mouths.... but here's the thing, I and black were the only ones previously trying to keep him from running away with it, until he wiped out all our troops in that area and they all stood by and watched, doing nothing, until I took the initiative of choosing to hold a choke point instead of 2 territories, allowing me to use less reinforcements to defend myself each turn. Here's how it really works at D12. You dare not be too good a player for the boys of the brotherhood, because when they know it, you are a dead man walking! And they will convince everyone that they acted alone and had to do what they did for the good of the game.... I personally do not care what the response is to this, I am done here, talking to words on a screen that masquerade as the voice of authority. Nothing I've ever said is [b]unprovoked[/b], Dracarys you gobbie little erk with a sense of humour that needs a re-think, take note! The majority of the Balkan players are the biggest cheating swines I ever had the misfortune to encounter, Suldam can fool you all into thinking he is a [b]new[/b] player who got good at Same Time games quickly somehow, that allowed him to go from Basic to Colonel in little over 4 weeks. The D12 contest is causing the influx of point hunters and hence team players. There is the same reaction by all those who know what they are up to and by some miracle have escaped a lifetime ban and that is, to verbally abuse the accusers so as to discredit them! Watch below!

Muzuane, I don't have a problem with the strong players killing off the weak. It happens all the time and I often do it myself, either for the tradecards or because it is 1 player less likely to suicide or do something stupid. But when they start to gang up and make plans to coordinate their attacks than I have a problem. At the least life should have informed Oliver that he was breaking the rules. When the site's own moderator ignores the rules or turns a blind eye for their buddy you are in deep trouble. No matter how many times I report these inccidents nothing ever happens. The corruption on this site has reached critical proportions. The games that are not ruined by suiciders, teaming, cliques, defaults and newbies that don't know how to play or don't know the rules are few and far between.

[Spoiler=To comment on that game:]Based on your image, Oliver could have thought like this: - If I kill Bisshop now, than only Fendi can kill me, not Pixels, but it's pixels turn first. - Therefore Fendi gets an easy win if Pixels doesnt do anything. Pixels will know that, so he will have to do something, and the only thing he can do is to kill Fendi. - If that happends, I will have the larger bonus, and can win with that. This is a very unconventional strategy, not at all like the way it normally happens, but I have seen things like it work before. So just from the pictures this does not look like teaming, but like aggresive and daring strategy. Of course, I do not know what Oliver thought exactly, but from the chat it seems I could have more or less the right idea here. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Two semi random facts:]- Sometimes it is nexcessary to make a kill that is less optimal for you, simply because if you don't someone else will have a very optimal kill and will win. - Sometimes, if your last opponent is blocked in, it can be a very good idea to kill the remaining player, even if it costs you more troops than you gain, because the other player can't kill you anyways. - It is no longer important to have a (very) strong cap, when the other player can't reach you. - If ppl start to make wild accusations, its usually better not to react, following the thought behind "Don't feed the trolls". [/spoiler] [spoiler=To comment on the chat:]- Saying capitals are boring and still joining them so now and then (for example because there are some super awesome players in the game, like TheBishop, Oliver, Fendi, name them) is something I do as well. I don't like capitals as much, for exactly the reason stated in the chat, but still play them so now and then. I do not see how this is a reason of cheating. - Saying that the game suddenly got interesting is a fact, because that's really what happend, the game got very weird (== interesting) all of a sudden. - The fact that he only considered the fight between him and Pixels can be very easily explained by the fact that by that time Fendi was already killed (may she rest in peace). - Saying that being nice to other ppl helps in risk is a fact, especially if you play with newbies. Sometimes they leave early and try to balance the game just before they leave. If they like you, they will attack you less than that if they hate you. - Saying that there are alot of other ppl that are good in risk as well, even if they have a higher score, is a very decent and polite thing tp say. Hello to all, i didn't want to be part of this argument and i will write my opinion only because my friend Bishop asked me to. i saw the game and read all the comments, one thing i don't understand is that in your pictures SOUTHERN ATLAS is owned by oliver before life kills fendi and after it belongs to life, there is something wrong there or i don't understand it. It is very important because if oliver doesn't owned it than he is not trapped. if oliver is trapped than lifes move is not that bad. if he is not trapped its awful... oliver's move is very bad and i would be very angry if i was in Bishop's position, but i cannot accuse him to be a cheater for that, i have seen all the good players make bad moves or moves that i wouldn't make to be more accurate Anyway i don't know if they played like a team, and i cannot judge by a single game that i wasn't playing But i would like to say my opinion for the players that team up in a game. For the last months i almost never play and when i do i play only 2p same time public games and 1 password protected 5-6p cap game that i create and the reason is that i want to be sure that i don't participate in a game where some players make a temporary alliance in the chat. I consider this cheating but since it is allowed by the rules and the site moderators do it as well i accept it and just don't participate. The thing i am trying to say is that what some of us don't like or consider cheating for some others it is just how the game is played. Neither opinion is right or wrong and you have to choose who you want to play with
