There's no "high ranked" players. It's just a picture(rank) that doesn't proves anything. There are players who knows some tactics and those who don't have a clue and remain on their luck(dices)- have to learn. You, still have to learn.
p.s. If you stay on this site for a couple of weeks/ months, you'll see that you have progressed. And then you will be ashamed for starting up this topic.

@Joca and others who have no clue what they are talking about: As I said, I was talking about games that were decided by the dice. For example right now I was eliminated in the first round without even making a single move. Must have been my fault. Seems I still have to learn a lot... You should be ashamed of writing nonsense without reading and thinking first.

Vexer: Well, maybe the dice are really equal for everyone but then that php random function is really bad (not your fault of course). As I said I played many 2-player-games in a row and most of the times I was not able to conquer any territory while losing the maximum amount of troops while the (high rank) opponent got a continent almost without losses right away. In a 2-player-game such bad luck is decisive. I had lost the game after the 1st (or sometimes 2nd) round already... Just makes me wonder how the "bad luck" can be distributed so unequally... :(

If you often fail where others seem not to, you might wonder if the others really do the same, or if they actually use probabilistic reasoning in their moves.

A simple example: if you attack with 3 armies vs 2 or more, you are likely to lose more often than when you attack 4 vs the same amount. Not just because of that one extra army.

matty, you're not overly quick on the uptake, are you? read again what he wrote. neither my brother nor i would be so retarded to attack 3 on 2 (others do and they usually get rewarded with very favourable dice). the mistake we seem to be making over and over again is to attack 10 on 2 or 30 on 10 which is apparently not enough. what's even more suspicious is the fact that everybody else lose less troops than they kill. this "bad luck" was responsible for me losing 15 games or so in a row (only interrupted by 1 game that i couldn't lose because another player suicided). if you lose 3-5 troops in the first or 2nd round without killing any, and other players kill 6 of your troops without losing any, and you lose every decisive battle due to rolling like that, there is no tactic that could help you win.

if it happens in 3 or 5 games in a row, i'd say it's coincidence. but after 10 or 15 games, it's getting harder and harder to believe in coincidence

I've had streaks of 10-15 bad games. But out of the 1000+ that iv'e played, the dice have been perfectly normal overall. Ironically, the dice were easier on my when I was starting too. You'd be crazy to expect never to get terrible rolls - statistically it should be happening.

Alright, I can't take it any longer. I have to admit it:

if ($userid == 19211)
   doBadDiceRoll();

No seriously, Vexer GAVE you the code. I would have never done that, but I think you now have the best proof of the actually being properly random. So instead of complaining, write us new code and we will change the system. Thanks.

Yes, we're hiring. You get 0.01 cents per ball, but you lose 0.01 cents per missed die roll.
