Can't say I'm feeling too positive about your post here. Feels like a certain bit of it is a personal attack directed towards me. I do not appreciate sarcasm when it's used in an offensive manner; thought you had better etiquette.
As you can read in my post here:
https://dominating12.com/forums/6/suggestions-feedback/3287/rating-disparity-ratio/post/59807#post-59807 I do not keep my tactics/goals hidden; nor do I brag about my high gains/game (which it looks like you interpret that I do, seeing how you comment on that in your post).
This can also be seen in a message/reply between you and me here:

Hello Alex, you are invited to join the Predators tournament.
Please tell me if you are interested to play, I assume that the answer is No because last time you didn't like the format, but I feel I have to ask for confirmation.

Hey hey,
Thanks for sending me an invite.
You're semi right; I'm indeed, at this point, not interested in joining. That's not because of the format though. It's a risk analysis which spits out a negative impact on rating.
Also, I'm more busy with things (since the second half of last year really), which has an effect on D12 too.
I'm all in favour of you organising this tournament and writing funny updates on it
The problem you have, is that you wish to compare yourself with everyone - or so it seems. When your playstyle isn't optimal for something and someone else's serves that purpose better, you wish to discredit the other person? You'd be better of arguing for a new/different rating system (and from memory... I think you have...) - I'd have no issues with that. I just personally haven't been able to come up with something that works just as decent (better yet; even better) as this rating system AND isn't ' impossible' to code/install here.
Along with this, you do not seem to understand what this rule is meant to do. It is not meant to influence ratings (get them more spread out, or more the same), it is meant to create more games in which a larger spread of rating mingles with each other. It thus makes no sense to say the disparity is larger now, because there's a bigger rating difference between the #1 and #6 in rating, as compared to a year ago.
As for me, I mainly play 3 (/4) types of games now (all long term);
-7p Free For All (FFA) DeathMatch (DM)
-8p Pairs games, DM
-9p DM
-D12 game (it's not really a 4th type... but ok... because it's the only games in which I play something other than DM)
In which the DMs are often with a certain rating restriction (>3000; would like to set it higher, but that would create issues in actually getting the games filled). I'd say that leaves quite some games which are actually aimed at avoiding ' noobs ' (bad wording by you, which I'm copying here). In many of these games, I avoid low rated players (which is often not a good measure of their skill - lot's of people with lower rating than what their skill reflects - especially people that just started playing. To keep it simple and about someone I can vouch for; my own personal skill hasn't altered much at all anymore after the first 1 (?) month; although my rating was about 30% of what it is now. This seems to suit my interest of not crashing my rating down and not playing too many games (I do not want to drop too much time here).
Apart from that, practically everyone plays against ' noobs ' - would be bad if we didn't? Then they had no chance to improve their skill (& rating)? Or do you know people that keep a bottom limit of 1000 (or what?) rating on all their games?
In short. I do not mind if you wish to advocate against this rule - by my guest. I'd just prefer if you didn't feel the need to involve me personally in this as if I'm a certain type of abuser/vampire. We've spoken about this rule in quite some messages and I've first expressed to be neutral against it and later positive. However, I didn't try to get this rule installed and I don't actually care a lot about the benefits it gives me, with respect to rating (yep, it does - can't deny that).
Checked back on some topics of yours:
https://dominating12.com/forums/2/general-discussion/3397/very-important-players - June 21st Feels juvenile now. Responded positively in post #18 though, as it could be something cool/good, but I'm not sure about the intent behind the creation...
https://dominating12.com/forums/15/tournaments/3401/david-and-goliath - June 25th 2020 - I now feel as if this tournament was also setup to display/channel your dismay for the new rule here (You actually asked me if I wanted to play it, I said no - it felt wrong; it felt like it'd be a circus, making fun of people; didn't want to participate in something which could be taken as a way of just glorifying myself).
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
