I know.
There are (I think) two problems. One is that we are very near to the limit of our mysql server, so we quickly run out of connections.
The other is that somewhere I screwed something up, but because it's php we use, it just continues. The problem is that it takes a while before it continues. This causes a lock in connections and that makes that when there are a lot of people that need a connection, it all stops for a half a second or something, hence the lag spikes.
I'll figure it out, but it takes time, and unfortunately I have been quite busy over the last few weeks.
Some more time this week, but Christmas is coming, and then I'm busy again
So yeah, if you play around peek time, don't use 3 minute turns - just like old times
