Do you think that the long term pending games should require you to click, Still Here every 24 hours? New players could put a lock on their games, never return. then you got games sitting in the long term room forever, or at least till staff kick it. Or better, instead of clicking Still Here, which would be annoying actually if you joined a whole bunch of games, have it that you Time Out of pending games if you haven't logged onto the site within 24 hours of joining the game.
Hoodlum is online.

What about, games automatically shut down after 7 days if not filled. Realistically, nobody invited to a long term game that potentially requires you to play every 24 hours, should be someone that doesn't log in within a week.
If they are on holiday (vacation) fair enough, recreate the game when they return.

This could save a whole lot of checking for unfilled games and prompting for invites.

Off topic sorry.

Just clicked on your www.dicepatch.com Hood, where is that hosted?
It's a fun way to bring people to D12.

Soo, sometimes I host a game that someone I really like wants to join, but he's maxed out currently (non premium). If all his games last more than a week, than suddenly my game is gone.

But, does it matter? You can create it again when you have available opponents. ;)
Creating a game that doesn't fill is kind of like leaving the risk board set up at your dining table for a week waiting for your friends to come over.

Thats a good idea aero! Leaving a risk board out! Except ive never played risk before...

I dunno, i never really have trouble with pending games forever, i agree with matty, sometimes non premium members are full, and have to wait. This issue could be solved if everyone bought premium, but some of us dont have a credit card. (Me) lol

(Off topic)
Hood thats kinda cool link. Lol

But then I have to invite again all the players that where in that game.
I'm fine with a notification that sais: "your long term game is about to shut down after a 24h unless you save its miserable life" or something each week, but I really don't want to auto shut it down without a way to preserve it.

Sidenote:
And we sometimes have a puzzle (not a risk board alas) laying about on some side table in our house for weeks, which is a lot of fun if you're bored for a little.

Why don't you talk about stuff lying on the table for months in the 'Off Topic' section. For me it's a half finished chess game.

I've made a thread for it now!
