Automating add times

I'm thinking it would make sense to automate the minutes of the rounds to 5 minutes, say when troops are around 150-200 and then 7 minutes when they get to say 300 for example. Saves bringing in mods to extend time etc and makes it possible to make the kill without spoiling the game.

Just like we get an extra "add time" after 10 rounds or so. If that can be automated then I imagine the time setting could as well? Not sure of numbers etc, but sounding it out as an idea...

I've been thinking of a similar idea but haven't had time to nail down the details. Using just the troop counts won't work, you have to consider what the card turn in value is.

I just need to come up with a proper formula to determine what the turn time should be based on what the card turn in value is.

I'm not seeing the significance of the cards, because its the person being killed that is relevant. The highest number of enemy troops determines how long it would take to kill them (plus server reaction time, router/switch ospf cost etc). Adding in more troops after the kill doesn't need more time for the actual kill because the highest enemy doesn't get any higher after a turn in from a kill.

Dunno if I'm missing your point though.

A more accurate determination of how much time you will need should based off of how many troop you yourself have available to attack with. Assuming you turn in cards then that needs to be accounted for. Sometimes to get the win you have to partially kill player B before killing player A so you're gonna need more time than just the time it takes to kill player A.
