​Notoriouspat raises a hand, demanding in a steady voice: "Expose Hoodlum's 4th Tryal Card!"
​The Magistrate steps onto the platform, reaching for the remaining unrevealed parchments. He turns to slot #4, lifts the heavy wooden latch, and flips the card face-up before the assembled town...

​A murmur of disbelief ripples through the gathering crowd! The accusation burns out without striking blood, and against all suspicion, Hoodlum survives the rope once more!
​The 7 Accusation marks piled before him dissolve into ash and enter the discard pile. With Card Slot #4 now laid open to the light as NOT A WITCH, Hoodlum steps down from the platform, leaving him with only 1 hidden Tryal card remaining.

​A stunned silence falls over the town square as Notoriouspat steps forward once more, brandishing a devastating Witness card directly at Hoodlum! The overwhelming weight of 7 instant marks crashes down, dragging a battered Hoodlum straight back to the gallows for the 2nd trial of the day!
​Notoriouspat points a decisive finger, demanding before all of Salem: "Expose Hoodlum's 5th and final Tryal Card!"
​The Magistrate steps up to the platform, his hand hovering over the solitary unrevealed parchment remaining in slot #5. He unlatches the wooden frame and turns the card face-up for the town to witness...

​Hoodlum: Tryal Card #5 — NOT A WITCH
​Though the final parchment reads NOT A WITCH, there are no cards left to shield him. Having all 5 of his Tryal cards stripped away and exposed to the light, Hoodlum succumbs to the hysteria of Salem!
​The 7 Accusation marks burn away to ash. Hoodlum drops to the platform, officially ELIMINATED from the game! All cards in his hand and in front of him are discarded.
​As Hoodlum breathes his last, the Magistrate steps forward and demands his final revelation: "Were you ever a Witch?"
​Hoodlum looks up at the crowd and speaks his last words...NO I WAS NEVER A WITCH
