we likely will not start until june 8th since am out of town 4th-8th. also gives more time for others to join. i am looking forward to it. here is what i have now. more to follow [quote] here are the preliminary parameters to the game - there are two phases to the game, each 24 hours long. each phase begins and ends at 21:00 server clock (the clock in the black bar at the top of this page) which is 2pm central time usa but will be a different local time for depending on your location. - during the day phase open chat in the forum is allowed. there will be a vote. the player that receives the most votes will be killed by the group. the vote is normally cast by saying "[b]lynch tennesseelogman[/b]" on a single line by itself. it can be part of a longer post like this but it is best to put it on a line alone and [b]bold[/b] it to make sure i count it. if you don't like using the word lynch = just say that you vote for so and so. you can change your vote up until the deadline. there are no PM chats allowed during the day phase except for the one that i create for the mafia. - during the night phase, there is no forum chat allowed. - different games allow different degrees of private message chatting but all require that the moderator (me in this case) be included in all chats. all other mafia games include more complex twist than this one - so i will throw in a small one = when i randomly assign town/mafia roles, i will also designate you as even or odd and you can only create a private message with another player on nights that correspond to your even/odd designation. you can respond and chat in any PM you are included in but can only initiate a PM on an even night if you are even and odd night if you are odd. - dead players should not post in the forum nor PM other players. i will create a chat room for dead players to discuss the game among yourselves or ask me questions. there should be no discussion about the game outside of the game. - you can copy paste things but no screen shots are allowed. copy/paste can be altered to support your lies/deceptions but screenshots would prove you are truth telling and are therefore not allowed = you must convince others without hard evidence. - if you have any questions = ask me. others are allowed to advise you also, but they can and mislead you and try to manipulate you. the moderator (me) is not allowed to lie but i am allowed to answer with no comment. - you are encouraged to participate. each player is required to make at least 1 post in the forum each day phase - if not, it will result in 1 additional lynch vote on you. if you fail to vote = it will result in 2 additional lynch votes on you. = stay active. - please do not edit your posts - just repost a correction - you must try to help your faction win [/quote]

- there will be a mafia boss and additional mafia henchmen - some might have other abilities - for town, there will be a detective, a sheriff, a mayor, a doctor, and maybe a deputy (shooter), maybe others feel free to begin asking questions or discussing here or in private feel free to invite others

Assuming standard 24hr phases, Town- Mafia- Neutral factions with basic abilities? Will chats be at our discretion or controlled by the moderator (i know mod monitors chat)? Can I bribe the moderator to give me the gun with any time use bullet proof vest along with night vision. LOL

So it's a 50/50 chance of getting a chat with odd and even factor? Meaning possibly no chat. Can there be more then 2 in chat? Meaning if in the forum, I can determine odd/even, then request chat with 2 or more others? So a Town Odd can request a chat with a mafia Odd - nice twist.

Look it's chatty 2OC (2ofclubs). As usual I will be overly honest and forgiving too the new players.

I would be interested in joining, first tike hearing about a game like this. I was seriously thinking about finding a mafia site like this website to play.
