By Bishops request and for the sake of clarity, i have created a thread for this map. The other germany thread was getting too crowded woth different maps.

Features:
- small map (we lack small maps on the site)
- 30 territories 8 regions
- historical map
- regions and territories are based on real borders
- the western area is unplayable, but is included nonetheless for reasons of "role playing", design and historical authenticity.
- no politically "questionable" symbols are used
- image size fullfills the criteria
- real maps i used as inspiration: https://imgur.com/a/RkKV4xH

- if you want i can split brandenburg into two equal parts with +3 bonus eachBecause right now, as it is, it will be difficult to take and hold it.

NOTE: There is possibility to make a second map with western provinces included. This would be a large map.

Looking nice, an interesting 30 tert map, but perhaps it can also work as a 42 territory map (adding the Western part of Germany)

Hoodlum
good to see you bishop.
yes i would probably agree, although it looks really nice, it seems a waste of an area (visually) not to play in.
just an idea.
i've used your other map as an idea. (i am not sure of the timeline, theme you are going for)
u could get away with 60 territories that would FIT (circles). from bishops neutrals guide. 52, 56 are great territory sizes. and would probably fix a cramped feeling and fit even better.
but also, we'd have to consider the most important aspect, gameplay. (impassable options)

well, if i were to make this area playable, then it would not be a small map anymore, just another large map.

here is what possible:

1. keep the small size map as it is gameplay wise (deutsches kaiserreich map). this would he called "deutsches kaiserreich 1900 eastern provinces"

2. make a second version that is exact the same, just with the Western area playable, similar to hoodlums proposal. i would simply add regioms and territories in the Western part.this would be called "deutsches kaiserreich 1900 complete territories" and it would be a big size map.

3. keep the germany middle size map as it is. i would be simply called "germany 2025".

so basicly we will get 3 maps of german theme, small, middle and large.

The_Bishop
Many options, I'm confused now. 1900 Eastern provinces only, why? I'd say let's start with one map of the whole Germany, either historical or contemporary. Any allowed size would be fine to me.

Text size has some inconsistencies: Nordposen is larger than Sudposen, Oberschliesen is larger than Mittelschlesien.
The others are consistent I think, check it out please.

I'm in favour of keeping Brandenburg region as large as it is. One large region in the center is just perfect!
I'm having a rethinking, perhaps Eastern German Empire is better, I don't know...

Who's that guy on the right, keiser Frank? Or is it just a German soldier? I'm not a huge fan of that big face there, I don't know exactly why, just too big perhaps.

Yep, just noticed it aswell! gonna update it today afternoon.

Regarding title: yes, agreed
Regarding Brandenburg: Yes, absolutely agreed!

And the guy is Bismarck lol. The first chancellor of germany as much as I know. I can post a version without him, so that we can compare which looks better. I though there too much empty space on the right, so I put his face there

Ah okay it's Bismark, well sorry forgive my ignorance. "Entschuldigung der Eiserne Kanzler!"
Well, if it is Bismark then he can stay I think.

Btw, maybe we could name it Germany 1900 (eastern part)? So that it appear right near the Germany map in the "create game" map list.

Oh got it. I don't like the parentesis in the title tho.
Well then I would counter-propose German Empire Eastern Provinces, simple and clear.
The German Empire had only existed for 30 years around 1900, so it's not really necessary to specify 1900.

Maybe Westpreußen can be called Danzig and Ostpreußen can be Königsberg, because are well-know town names. Just an optional idea.

I haven't started the implementation yet, but I already see there will be likely some issues fitting the circles into those small territories next to each other.
Let's try and see,,,

Yeah, just as expected... HD is the solution, either that, or we cut off the Western part which is non-playing.
Current name: German East 1900 (HD).

The name is okay, but
I dont understand the necessety of HD or cutting. The map has width of 1024, isnt it the normal size?

PS: i just checked some other small size maps and they have a width of 1024 , but are not HD.

PS 2: or is because of the circles? they are too big for some territorirs? if so, i can chanhe the borders slightly, cuz HD doesnt fit this map imo.

I tried to fit the circles. It works more or less. I will change the borders and the placements of the names slightly, so that they fit more neatly with the circles.
