it looks like you feel strongly about this, cause it looks the same and closer to what you want rather than the other map makers, virt and bishop. cool that u messaged JoRo and JCaesar69 to comment, they can be honest, and actually take a look at both images rather than just agreeing for you.
sometimes you will have to suck it up and go against your own taste. i've made 100's of frustrating edits over the years to the point where, i don't draw what i actually want, my maps aren't even my taste. i cater to what i know will be critiqued from the active critics. till this point, you've had it easy :)
good luck.

Well Hoodlum, you got me here hehe. But I will reduce the opacity to what you and other map makers prefer. Gonna upload it today in the evening i think.

Have a nice New Years eve!

Alright, i think i have managed to reduce opacity to the level that was prefered (i forgot to write down the opacity level, so i had to do it by the eye).

<a href="https://ibb.co/0jcjFLFH"><img src="https://i.ibb.co/rGmGchcD/Titelloses-82-20251231161154.jpg" alt="Titelloses-82-20251231161154" border="0"></a>

ps: had to edit the pic three times to hit the correct opacity level. the thing is i make the maps on my tablet, but compare them on a pc. and comparison of the same map between two divices is difficult, so i need to upload it on the forum and view from pc to see whether its ok or not.

Dima, your hard work is amazing, thanks so much for sharing your talents through these maps! The territory borders look much better so well done on that :) I also think the background images as they are now make the map look better as a whole. If anything, I would consider increasing the saturation or opacity slightly of the background in the top right corner, as it is a little too dull when compared with the opposite side. Have a play around with it and see if you agree :)

It's looking great!
