Okay there we go! You guys convinced me, let's change the title style!

Thanks @SethHrab for commenting, especially for the English syntax suggestion!! :) I'm going to do most of the things you asked for, however, even if I can agree to reduce the Connecticut bonus by 1, I will not agree to split Connecticut into 2 regions. I'm not a fan of small region based gameplay, we already got many maps on that line, this one is a bit different.

I'm just playing the very first games on this map and it seems to work pretty well, if anything doesn't work as expected I will fix it for sure! Orange and blue regions are quite easy to hold, perhaps too easy, the green one (Connecticut) is rather hard, that's true, and it is so on purpose, a sort of free land for maneuvering.

Any time. 6 would be better than 7.. for sure. It just feels out of place to me, not sure that I can totally put my finger on exactly why it "feels" that way, but is only my two cents. As I said, others may feel differently.

More than happy to contribute. You'll have your chance at one of mine I'm working on soon. ;)

actually like the crayon look of the map. even like the ny and boston font.
it's a different look, and the map looks clean. but i just might be getting bored of the same looking style, especially my own maps.

Yes right, thanks Hood. However I'm not gonna do all my maps the same style!
Well, now the thoughts are getting a bit contradicting so I'm still collecting comments and feedback.
I'll focus firstly on practical things like bonuses and phrasing, then the rest, like fonts and colours.

I'm really liking the gameplay on this map. I think the contested regions work really well here. Sticking with only two and spacing them out works well. This might be one of my favorite smaller maps now.

The contested area wording is so confusing.

I have no idea what it means. I am playing in two games now on this map (played before a few times alraedy) and still have no idea how get that bonus.

Either clarify the wording or remove this contested area. Cause it sure is unclear.

For the bonus to take effect, hold entirety of a striped region and ALSO hold one of the corresponding full color regions. i.e. hold the yellow/red striped region AND the red region will result in a +1 for holding the yellow/red striped and a +3 for the holding the red.

Then use those words!

It is poorly worded in the current text. Even after asking others, no one could explain.

"you recieve the bonus of the contested areas only if you hold one of the two adjacent regins of the stripe color"

maybe this?

Why can't the wording be consistent to begin with.

You have also something similar for Timor, Game 1551662

I would make it explicit. "If you hold either the north or south regions that are adjacent to it."

And I wouldn't even use the word "contested region" since it is irrelevant in this instance. Otherwise all other maps with regions that have conditional bonuses should be labelled as such

No, Timor is a bit different actually. That's why I like/want/have to use different words.

This is not cumulative. Contested areas bonuses are only counted once, no more. Same as Rus' Land.
The system compensate the over-counts (if needed) by using negative bonuses.

Timor and Medit Empires are cumulative instead.
In those cases special area bonuses are counted as many times as the adjacent regions held/owned.
