I was wondering why the decision was made for the ranking up system made easier? From my estimate, the higher ranks went down by 200 points. Is this because there are a lot more players, a lot more good players too, are joining up and making it harder to rank up? I just hope I won't not try as hard to rank up. hehe

There is going to be a newspost about this, but I think Vexer is waiting for me on finishing premium maps.

However, with so much good players around, it became really hard for new players to rank up.
This had a problem of two corporals having the same rank, but one could be alot better than the other.

So now the lower ranks are closer to eachother, allowing new players to gain ranks faster.
The upper ranks are still far away, so the difference between the really high players is preserved.

Of course, its a bit easier to become general now, but that's fair.
Half a year ago it was relatively easy to win 9 player games, but right now there are so many new players that is has become alot harder.

So I think if you manage to reach Colonel now, you would have managed to reach Colonel half a year ago.

I'm curious why both of you don't rank up with this new system. In fact, most of our highest ranking players haven't changed.

There is this thing that all those high ranked players have so much tokens, and have nothing to spend them on.
So there are going to be premium maps (WWII will be one of them) to spend tokens on if you're not premium.

...

I actually don't have enough tokens to rank up ;)
