oh, looks like everything went back to normal. for a bit, everyone's rank icon was 1 higher than normal. For example, my rank had a red stripe but i was still a warrant officer with 2600 points.

Ok actually this is really weird. On one of my computers (safari, mac osx) it has the change. But my other computer with identical settings does not. I reloaded the pages multiple times too.

Vexer added a cheater rank, so you have to clear your cache for it to work properly.
Press Ctrl-F5 (possibly multiple times) and it should solve.

fixed, thanks. i was using an older computer that i hadn't used in a while so that's probably why.
