I think this should not happen due to using a random function. However, is there a point at which you lose more often? I.e. do you only have bad luck during attacking, defending or both? Because if it is just one of the two cases, there might be a mistake in some kind of calculation.

As Vexer said: it is interesting to know when this started, as there was a slight change to how dice work to make them faster, but that should not have changed anything.

Contrary to what Cireon said about the dice getting a small modification, the dice were completely changed 8 days ago. The dice used to be based off of measured truly random changes in the atmosphere. Now they are pseudo-random and based off a computer's simulation of randomness. The change was made because the truly random dice from random.org were stored in the database and the database server was getting overwhelmed. Although a computer can only simulate randomness it can come pretty close and for our purposes it's close enough.

What i find interesting is that you claim bad dice even after the dice were completely changed. Either you really do have horrible luck or your perception is the problem. I'd bet millions that it's your perception. If I had unlimited time I could prove it using the game logs.

That crap happens to all of us. Although the bad rolls do seem to come in bunches. Or maybe its anger over the 1st bad roll, then compounded by being angry and over agressive. My suggestion, buy some dice and a hammer. When you get bad rolls, smash a die or two to make you feel better. =)

Well I wouldn't care what was done to them, they in no way simulate real dice...I have never had these kinds of rolls on the board..Yes there may be a string of bad luck, but i just took my turn in 10, 24 hour games and in almost all of them it cost me 3 men to just kill 1...Tell me how that fits in to randomness????????

Having a lot of losses in one turn doesn't mean that you will have better chances of winning the next fight easier. Chances of losing armies stay the same over time, so it is well possible to have a bad day. Overall, you should roll all numbers on the die the same amount of rolls and repeating the experiment (roll and roll and roll and...) should therefore eventually result in the amount of victories and defeats to be the same (if we don't take into account the advantage given on a tied roll).

I should probably add that I do agree with both brewdog's and ODG's theories, they do seem hard to stop when they start and once the bad dice starts it seems to follow you, which HAS to be obviously at that point when it's just all in my head.

I am seriously going to keep very good track of my dice. I gotta know the odds are there. I will get back to everyone on this, also maybe my game is off, seems like I have been losing more than usual lately anyway.
