Me and Crystal have been assigned to the fall tournament.

we will be using the chart i designed originally for the spring tournament. i explained it step by step but if you still find it confusing then don't worry about it. we will deal with the confusing stuff and you just play your games. for all of you who don't know what the setup is that i am talking about i reposted it at the bottom of this post.

each game will have 4 players and there will be 10 games. no more no less. each player will have 2 lives so if you have a bad game its ok you will have another chance. which is good considering the odds of you winning each game is 1 in 4. now there will be one person who makes it to the finals with no lives lost. that person will get an advantage by choosing the map. each game played will have a different set of players as well.

the map of each game will be chosen by the 4 players in that game. (with exception to the game 10 as mentioned before.) cards will be increasing there will be no fog, and Fortification will be set to chained. this will be your basic deathmatch game really.

if you want to join please comment below with your top 3 colors in order that you want to play with. once we have 16 players the tournament will begin. this is first come fist serve according to this thread. so if you want to join please comment below and not message me.

however if you do have any question feel free to message if you want.

Oh, it started?

Well, orange, orange and orange of course, but red and yellow are ok as well.

Wait, I don't like that system.
Game 8 is not a play-to-win game, just a sacrificing game.
It should be skipped and the final game played with 5 players.
Are you sure don't you want to change something?

it has to be there becuase of the double elimination system. if i were to make game 9 the finals and make it a 5P game then you would have 4 out 5 of the players being undifeated. then what do you do? this way there is only one person being undifeated going into the finals and that can be fixed by giving him the adavntage of choosing the map, giving an even playing feild for everyone.

Some remarks on the system:

1) I wanna be #7 :P
2) Your explanation is very long - put it in a spoiler.
3) Its not fair
Dont misunderstand me, its a very nice system, but in Risk its just quite impossible for some games to decide who is 2nd, 3rd or 4th.

So my suggestion would be a 5p final. Al players of game 8 advance to the final, but the winner chooses the map.
(Thanks Bishop)
4) The last (big) picture doesnt help.
It would be easier to understand if it would go top down.

Well, the system is very nice, really. But game 8 is very unfair!
The best strategy in that game is to sacrifice the best player. This is not suitable to an official tournament. The result could be that the winner of the tournament won't be the best player.
(The choise of the map it is not a very advantage, nor one addictional card bcoz the game is increasing and nobody want to turn in first.)

A sacrificing game can be fair and strategically interesting, for me, if played for example with 6 players and 3 of them will be eliminated. In that case would be hard that you waste your troops to sacrifice someone when you can also be sacrified. When the game will be reduced to 4 players it will be in a similar condition of Marcoxa's game 8; but you can plan your action by long: for example when the players will be 5 you can go for a double kill or you can go for a single kill if you get a great advantage that makes you unsacrificable... There's the strategy to play it.

If you accept that, I have something in mind that could improve the system, but I want to make a scheme in Marcoxa's way to be more clear.

@darkdead - "dark" is not a color but maybe can be consider as black.
Why don't you buy the rank?

@Crystal - "GREEN" and "green" are the same color!

Btw I don't mind the colors.
