Spring 2012 Tournament

We have thought about the potential targeted players. This will make it a little more difficult to win that second game yes. But if there are more than 1, 1 game winner in a cluster then it will be harder to target that person for fear of the other player/players in the cluster with a win already getting there second win. As far as how many games that will have to be set up each cluster at most can only play 5 games. That will account for each player in that cluster getting 1 win and then the 5th game decides the overall winner because someone will have to get their second win. I understand that you are worried about being teamed against when you do receive a win and it will make it more difficult to get that second win but I believe it will add to the nature of the game play in this Tournament more than it will hurt it. If you do not feel the same way you can let me know.

I am staying out of this cause i don't have time to look into but fendi and holt want to try it their way for unknown reasons aside from the claim that it's more work. If it doesn't work out then we can try marcoxa's way for the next one and see if it's any better for fendi.

Personally, Holt, I think your ranking system rocks because I am the 4th best player. Ummm what programming languauge is used? I know a couple programmers and I could try and bribe them or blackmail them to help fix bugs.

Brew the rankings were done with a simple equation which I think I explained in the earlier post. Unfortunately buddy unless you start winning alot more you probably wont stay at the 4 spot for long. The more games you play the harder it is to keep that average up.

javascript and php are the programming languages. They would also need to know css and sql. Please find us more programmers!

When will the tournament start? And any space left?

I believe the tournament has 16 members already which will consist of 4 games of 4 players. We still haven't decided exactly when the tournament will start but as soon as we know we will post it.

Hello all. Sorry for the delay. [b]Information about the Tournament.[/b] This Tournament will be a Long Term Game (24 hours). Each game will consist of 4 players on the Falkland Islands Map. It is planned that the 16 players will be divided into 4 clusters. Those 4 clusters will then play multiple games and the first competitor from each cluster to win 2 games will advance to the final game. The championship will only be 1 game. Fendi you're the best for doing all that you do for this site. I'm sure I speak (or type) for all when saying you go above and beyond to make sure this site is awesome.
