Wanna be a d12 dominator..how? in brief...play strictly large games (win more lose less), avoid 1v1 games at all costs!
Look for a game against the d12 dominators.

@AlexCheckMate plays the d12 games, other high ranks in big games, don't hold your breath getting a game with him, but unless you are brand new and not going to take your turn, you could get an invite for a 1v1 or a team game with his experienced partner. but by the time you realize you could have earned some big points from him right from signing up, you would already be too experienced!
But if you are a new sign-up and have played risk before from another site, you can do it....this post is for you..hope you read it first :)
His points would help, but they aren't important to work your way up. read further...

@JoeySe7en plays live, locks games and invites brand new sign ups for 1v1 games too, but does play live 5+player dm games that you can join, usually it's a mix of new and other regular live players, decent points to get.

@Slackbatter @OldDogGen @maafi plays big games, plays all ranks. you can find them in the long term games.

@periwinkle. plays team games. friendly player always down for a challenge, probably look out for some longterm team games or message her.

@crdravis, plays lots of large capitals games. you can always find a game with crdravis in this mode.

@jonathon, plays longterm sametime large dm games. he will be hard to beat unless you know the mode. get some practice!

@Irob, plays lots of modes. long term, live games. get good at 1v1 sametime if you wanna score some fast points,,it's not easy tho!

@huskers01 plays no card team games with set partner, good points to get...if you can beat them! their games are unlocked and always up for a challenge.

@hooboy11 sametime 1v1. find this whiz in the live arena. you might hate sametime after playing hooboy, tho...lol. not easy points to get

Interesting post, I learned a lot about some of these players :)
I see a lot of parallels with real life - most of the 'ultra-successful' individuals reach such heights by specialising and mastering a specific skillset. People who are less fanatical are by no means less happy with their life, and vice versa. To each their own :)

As for myself, I avoid 1v1 not because I don't want to lose points, but because I don't find it strategically interesting. I imagine many of the top 12 feel similarly. As for sametime, my Internet connection is the main reason I back down - even though I would love to learn, it is demoralising feeling handicapped so arbitrarily.

Proud to say I made it to the top 12 once upon a glorious time (mostly from good/lucky performances in your conqueror tournaments, Hood). All good fun :)
It is now Day 8. Please submit your Lynch vote, as well as any Role-specific Day actions you wish to perform (countdown).
Day Actions:
• #LYNCH [player], #NO LYNCH, #ABSTAIN in forum thread.
• Role-specific actions (via PM with V98).

nice summary hood! yup...that's pretty accurate for me! The only reason why I'm not higher is that dreaded 1v1 live game....I LOVE playing those...but yes, very, very, very bad for your point health! lol

yup....totally more interested in a challenging team game....message me for a game...i'm always down to take you and your team on! :)
