What happened to TheMachiavelli?

The last thing I remembered is that he opened a thread where he criticized mistakes made by some players on same time games and, after criticizing Hoodlum's play, Hoodlum replied accusing him of using multiple accounts when he started to play. I personally wasn't very fan of that thread, I don't think players should be bashed for playing bad. I didn't like Hoodlum's attitude either, usinng the information obtained as an Administrator in a personal discussion. Anyway, I can't find the thread and I haven't seen TheMachiavelli playing since then. Has the thread been deleted? Has TheMachiavelli been banned? I would like to know what happened. I haven't played a lot vs TheMachiavelli but he seemed to be quite polite and there is no doubt that he was one of the best sametime players on this site. Due to a hack we lost several weeks of general discussion posts. Nothing was specifically deleted, as it was lost due to us only having a backup that was a few days old.

I don't know why he stopped playing, we didn't give him any sort of ban for as far as I can see. Note that because Hoodlum is admin, an accusation to him is a lot heavier than normal. So maybe it's unfair of Hood to react that way, but to not be allowed to react that way is also a bit unfair. Please note that we are all just volunteers who enjoy playing risk and helping this site. Occasionally we are tired too and cant always perfectly professional.

Thanks for your answers. I just found strange that he stopped playing all of a sudden so I thought that he might be banned or something. @Matty, I appreciate the effort that you (and other volunteers) put in this site, I just wish that you played more often :)

np. he might turn up again at some time. I have known TheMachiavelli, well before I started playing here on d12, he played on the warzone server. he use to come and go there too.

If a player is breaking rules to gain an advantage, then criticising others that play fair, but bad in their eyes, shouldn't this be pointed out? Perhaps to do it in public is lowering yourself to their level, but would that type of player willingly remove the criticism thread & remove any extra accounts after private discussion, or would they deny it and refuse to and also possibly add to it, with the the community believing that they were right and just to do so?
