Rank Structure

would someone mind explaining how the rank structure works, my friend is a higher rank than me even though I have won and played more games than him.

You can buy a rank (with in-game tokens) if you have sufficient points (click "Upgrades" in the top bar).

You get points for winning games: the more or high ranked players you beat, the more points you get.
