Anyone like games with large numbers of players?

I'm talking 7-9. I keep trying to get games of that size, but not many people seem too interested. Is there anyone who might be?

There are quite a lot of players who do.

But I see that you do not like increasing cards.... Well, the point about large fixed card games is that they can take a long time to finish. People do not really like that.

That is exactly why I made this thread. I am trying to see if more people are open to this kind of play, since clearly they aren't represented in the pending games.

I have played some of them and loved it. It's good for gameplay, but you need a lot of patience and time. I don't have that much of the first, and even less of the latter nowadays

Are you only looking at live games? At least half of the games I play are 7-9 players but they're all long term games. A live game with that many players would be too unpredictably long (i.e. how many meals do I need to prepare ahead of time?).

Especially true without increasing cards (those can last for weeks or months in the long term format).

personally i almost only play at least 6 ply or more, with fixed cards...but in longterm...you will find games there. nice to have a ply with similar taste present

I would like to be able to try a live game with many players, though.

I quite like large player games with fixed cards as it takes a lot of skill to beat the opposition. It's not "who ever gets the luckiest cards win"
