Just to give everyone a heads up on where we are. I know the beta has went on quite a long time and some of the beta testers have left due to lack of new players. It's alright, just keep hanging on, the site is going through a time of little updates as I am working on a huge thing.

I am currently going through page by page and redoing them. Not completely redoing them but making the design of that page so I can add languages/skins later as well adding things that needed/wanted to be added. So when I get to the game list page I will add the collapsible drop down for each game so you can see all information.

This will take a while but in the end it will be worth it. I just want to make everything we have perfect before I launch this. I will make the shop and tokens as well. When we do launch, I want the launch to be so huge and gather so many members that the site immediately becomes a huge hit. So I am perfecting things before the launch. I have a friend who will translate an ad into Russian, German, and French and put the add on gaming forums in those languages. Because of that I am going to translate the site also into those languages so those members who join can play in their own languages.

I also would like to wait for maybe just 2 more maps, no pressure on the map makers though. I still have a long ways to go in my updating every page into the new skin system. I want it done and launched before Christmas though.

So though you don't see much change, you know I am working hardcore to redo every page and prepare the site for launch. I am also considering hiring a programmer. I haven't met the guy yet, but supposedly he is a Christian missionary from China who ran out of money here, he is working for my ex-boss as a programmer, so I will check it out and see if he likes the idea of working at home part time. If this happens, it will be very good and take a lot of stress off of me.

I will keep most of my daily updates in twitter, being much easier there. Updates like "I finished the home page, here is what it looks like" or "I woke up, now I will work on the game list page."

As well, I have asked wca our cartographer to create a twitter account and give updates about how maps are going too. So for the most active updates on map creation and website creation, you should get a twitter account and follow us.

No worries, we will get there eventually and the original beta testers will not be forgotten.

Do you think "DXII Maps" would be a good name for the Twitter account?

I named mine RiskOnline. You could name yours DXIIMaps or RiskCartography or DxiiCartograhy or just your name. Perhaps WCAMaps. Maybe DXIIwca. Then if we get more map makers or other dxii team members who wants to join twitter they can do the same style.

I don't know the cleanest most organized way for people to name twitter accounts if we want to have them match. Maybe dom12wca. I dunno. Good luck picking one. lol.

I've mentioned the site a couple times in my games on cc, but don't want to give you too much publicity right now while you're still in testing. I play over a hundred games at a time - over 90% of which are 8 man singles. That's over 700 people i can reach at a time with a promo sentence or two (or 3 . . .) for the site.

That would be awesome. I certainly want to hit it big in one go. An instant competition for cc. We don't have the luxury of growing slowly, because we are in a market already full of competition. We must be the best quickly, and upgrade so fast that nobody wants to even try to compete with us, and they all buckle in our wake.

If you would like to watch the updates. I built a website to track what I have done:

http://dominating12.com/beta.php

At the bottom of the page is a percentage until completion. I am completely renovating the site page by page touching it up.
