Heh actually recognizing me as annoying while breaking rules and double posting. Nice one, evil genius.

Besides that, the amount of noobs suiciding in caps is rather appalling...

tramadol, i hope you don't indulge in hate-mongering as had the late-aeronatic. it doesn't serve any purpose.

@Suldam, in which way is it hateful?
Honest, yes! Retaliatory, yes! Fair, yes!
Plus, read all the posts, there are things that are Right & Wrong with everything D12. Unfortunately, the first post is a "Wrong" opinion about a player's behaviour and was the inspiration to ask players what else they find Wrong or Right.
No, I am not the hate-mongering type!

Shocking - Tramadol has similarities to Aeronautic.

WHAT A SURPRISE!!!

Suldam-I don't know you but I like you.

Players that have been here for a long time and still either still don't understand anything about the game or only join games to deliberately ruin them, laughing and saying "it's just a game" when they do it. You decide which you think it is from your experiences with this player?

I will put a link into the game I refer to once the Moderators have had a look at it, but I won't be mentioning names, just see for yourself. It would perhaps be bias, if anyone else commented on it before it has been scrutinised.

I suggest an offer of training to save a ban for this type of player and if they refuse, we will all know what their intention is!

A big "Wrong"!

Describe what happened? The game chat and game log don't give a great picture.

Haha Even nickmax admitted it was a dick move to me in another game. Basically r1master, I don't know if it was a glitch or just mistake, left his troops right off his cap and asked for courtesy since it was an obvious hickup. Nickmax said "courtesy" so I assumed he was giving him courtesy, but he did not. Haha

Basically I learned not to be nice. :P

alee, I beg you to not think this is the norm and always be nice in the future. Taking a cap from a glitch might win you the game, but it's no fun and certainly doesn't make you any better of a player. You are sharpening your skills quite nicely lately, and don't need any help from mistakes, and certainly should keep being nice. My only exception to this is if it's heads up and they ran out of time, as that's definitely part of the game, or if not killing them means they will kill you next turn, but even then you need to actively explain your intentions in the chat, and see what the other players are thinking. For the most part, we all play graciously when someone makes a mistake like that.

Never let another player change how you play.

I think cbt711 will agree with me, people who break Courtesy when a player mistakenly leaves troops off Cap are bad sportsmen! We often call for 1 turn non attack courtesy when it happens or the game is ruined and after all, is it still a game when 1 player gets 40 or 50 free troops? So, this action gets a big "Wrong" from me!
Only last night I ran out of time in attack and the screen wouldn't refresh for me to add time, but nobody called for courtesy so my 112 troops and the 2 empty caps were just taken for the win by some guy!!

When someone accidentally moves their troops to the adjacent territory and you give then courtesy to move back -right.

When someone is trying to run the board and runs out of time what courtesy are you suggesting we give? The courtesy to move back home next turn and letting any player that is weakened by the attack recover - right. But who's to tell the weakened player not to take advantage, especially if he only has 4 cards and no set? Surely he must play to win from there. Where do we draw the line, especially when turn ins are up so high that the next to turn wins?

When someone fails an attack for running out of time in a caps game I say letting them continue their attack next turn is a big WRONG and taking advantage when the turn ins are so high that if you wait a round you will surely die isn't necessarily wrong

Agree with Syg. If you run out of time, you're beat.

I actually don't mind if someone doesn't give courtesy and just takes what is theirs, by right. If everyone agrees, fine.

That said, what nick max did was much worse. If I'm reading this right, he pretended like he would give courtesy, propositioned it actually so that alee let him pass and then nick killed him. Very bush league. And when Drac is saying it's bush league, it's really bad!
