@Sygmassacre & @Dracarys, you get me wrong in Post #43

I was stating the difference and using running out of time as an example of tough luck when that happens and that, I nor anyone else shouldn't and didn't call for courtesy in that case.
Perhaps I should have explained that better! You should also both know me better than to think that I would grouse about my own mistake.. LOL

However, when just undertaking a standard move and all your troops are accidentally moved off cap, we all know that the program and our computers / devices can cause this when not intended and good sportsmanship should be shown, giving the courtesy of a no attack agreement for 1 turn each by all remaining players.
To nickmax's bad sportsmanship, 5 players say "Wrong"!

I just viewed (Lurked) a game http://www.dominating12.com/index.php?cmd=game&sec=play&id=331013 and came across Hoodlum placing a link in the chat to a site he made: http://www.myleague.com/1v1

It turns out that he has made a ladder system for a particular game type here at D12, for only D12 players to register and keep track of their position in the ladder rankings / placings.

Quite a good idea and inspiring to see personalised websites dedicating to this site. It can only help with SERP's and create more interest in gaining experience and knowledge of the game.

I have suggested he simplifies the site more, makes more game types for ladder positions and should request an external link from here, by placing his suggestion in the forum for authorisation. This should also increase awareness.

This sort of thing gets a big "Right" from me!

Thank you Crystal. This brings me straight to my next post:
How helpful, prompt and efficient the staff here are, considering how many situations, PM replies, forum posts, staff meetings, research, complaints & player checks they also have to deal with every day, beside all the normal scheduled tasks for when they get into the office / online.

That's a big "Right" from me!

The general standard of play at D12, is becoming appalling.

Premium players will make crazy moves like leaving all their reinforcements against your capital and not add any to theirs at all, which will ruin the game or at least guarantee they lose, then you as a result, out of spite, because you blocked their bonus and then use foul language and a total disregard for the game when you calmly point out the danger!
Players will attack a Capital and take 4 cards total, not worrying about becoming a target with 5 cards afterward and just because the dice gave amazingly rare huge bias to attack (2-1), they will be convinced it was a good move and possibly always then play like that!!
In Death Matches, they will team up in private and pretend they are not, but the fact that they become the strongest players and do not attack each other until someone else joins the chat and also exposes the obvious facts, allows them to get away with it and start attacking each other, but still leaves you unable to have a valuable influence on the game after they crucified your troop numbers!
Lack of understanding & bitterness are bad attributes in a player, but cheating is a terrible thing to have to endure.

These are just 3 examples of the poor standards... anyone else want to add some here?

"Wrong"

No matter what we do or how hard we try we can't stop stupid.

I only play team games (beta) now because of things like this. If there are only two teams then you see absolutely none of these problems. You also don't see stalemates or boring games or flat out murder-suicides. Since you, tramadol, are a well known premium player I have given you beta access to create team games.

tramadol, please make sure you use the report player function and encourage others to do the same. Also, I will be happy to look at games like this if you send me the link. Although they may not always be clear cut transgressions or handled in a way that makes everyone happy, the more reports received about certain players helps us to build a track record so that it becomes more obvious who these bad players are and they can then be dealt with in a more efficient manner.

In many cases where it eventually becomes clear that these types of players have ruined games, I do go back and make adjustments such as returning points that at one time I may not have been willing to do so because it may have been a 'grey area' situation at the time.
