RETIREMENT RULE

If you throw a D12 press conference, aka make a whole thread, about retiring shouldn't there be some rule that forces them out after a certain period??

We don't want any fake retirement pity parties being thrown, do we?

I personally would just leave, but I understand saying goodbye. We don't want any Brett Farve's here, do we?

1) I read your retorts to every post he made here, why do you hate him so much?
2) He is gone, he said something like "I'm out of here" in his last post and his avatar is gone.
3) He told me he was only staying to help the guys with maps and finish his last long term game, but he couldn't stand the remarks of people here any longer and resigned from his last game... hence the time before leaving, but he was genuine, he really wanted to go, ask all his friends.

Was he highly feared as a player? As a friend he is awesome! I assume you will hate me as well now as I know him and respect him?

You're first move in the first match of the 2-person team tourney will live with me forever, as will the subtle changes you've helped me realise in my own strategies. They certainly helped me win the most important game I've played on this site (my 1000th).
Every time you had a point to bring up you delivered it with detailed thoughts and reasons, however right or wrong, accompanying them which I have nothing but the utmost respect for.
Even though you may never read this you will always know the respect I have for you. Some may not but that's because they are as hot-headed as you can be and it takes someone with a calmer demeanuor to get you. Your delivery in some instances definitely needed improvement loti but, oh well, that's who you are.

Why must people argue, mud-sling, bully, accuse, cheat, retalliate. Take a breath. It's only a game. Yes, it takes up a lot of my spare time and even encroaches on work time loti, but it is still only a game. Yes, I wake up sometimes with a vivid picture of a map in my mind only to discover I dreamt that last move and its still the same way it was when I went to sleep, but it is still only a game. Yes, I strive to get into the top 12- the Dominating 12, but it is still only a game.

If you beat me in a game, congratulations. I'll just move on to the next one. There are plenty going. Thankfully I haven't experienced much rage or vendettas so far so long may it continue and long may DXII continue to be a great place to spend my time
