Alright, I found that a great way to advertise is via Twitter. I set up a twitter account which I will start keeping up-to-date logs of what I am doing throughout the day. Right now it's only about 2 a day, but when I start getting comfortable perhaps I will even tell you when I stop working to poop.

So anyone who is interested to find out what I am doing daily about the website go ahead and follow me. Right now I'm not giving out the name of the site, only talking about it, later I will add a link to the site so people who read my twitter page can come see the site. My goal is to spark interest. When I say "I am working on a capitals game type where you destroy a players capital to defeat them" then people can be like... oh wow that sounds interesting, what is this game?

My Twitter:
http://twitter.com/RiskOnline

I only have 1 follower right now... Women's Health... lol

It seems by following people it's like advertising yourself, or like showing yourself to the community. So what you do is you follow a ton of people and you will get a ton of bots following you back, but sometimes you also get real people who are interested in the game following you back.

So out of 2000 people that I followed I have only 423 follow me back. After maybe a week or a couple of days I then unfollow everyone who isn't following me and I go and follow more people again. I try to follow people who are following people like "BoardGames" or "StrategyMan" or something like that, so there is a higher chance they will be interested in "RiskOnline".

lol, that's what i figured, taking a quick look at your followers. let me know if it turns out to be a good ROI.

I've managed to get 1,000+ followers simply by rockin' it. :)
huzzah!
