Bug? How can someone turn in so many cards in one move!

How is the below possible? He turned in 9 cards in one turn and still had 2 cards left at the end of his turn...I guess this is a bug? Nope, this is not a bug. He probably started with five cards. Then he turned in three for a set, leaving him with two. Then he killed Shrike who also had five cards. If you kill someone, you get all his cards, so now GeneralMalaise has seven in total and he can turn in two sets, so he has one left. After he ends his turn, he gets another card for attacking, leaving him with two cards.
