There are lots of gray's. It is also gray right now, but if you can give me a better colour (preferably a gradient, like now), I am willing to try it.

The "click to show" is not meant to stand out a lot. I have no problem with reading it. I could make the font lighter and/or larger if that would help. I think a gradient from left to right would not look very good in this case I think.

If I make the bar lighter, the text will become even less readable, unless I make the bar light and the text dark, which is another thing worth trying.

I made three small examples for you:

Original:
foobar (click to show)

Larger text:

Lighter text:

Lighter gray bar:

To be honest, I do not prefer any of them over the original one, but I am open to improving it of course. So yeah, feel free to let me know what you think about these.

Right now BB-codes do not work in the chat, but it is on my todo list to allowed a limited subset of codes there (probably smileys, bold, italic, underline and maybe colours).
