Every time I click on a new option... join game, forum, what have you my screen fills with the quote above but I can still see the correct page under it all; and it only leaves once I refresh the page. Its is starting to bother me, I have missed joining a few games already because of it. is this a temporary issue? what is it anyway? and do others have this happening?

Then you must have been on the website at the very moment I was restarting the MySQL server because I had to change a configuration file to prevent some other errors :)

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

I too had this and it was indeed just after the site came back online after the change over.

However, my D12 program freezes constantly now, especially when about to place reinforcements. I have to refresh about 10 times from 1 turn to the next. Vexer has asked my to feedback, the time, amount of players online and amount of live games in play when it happens, but I don't think this is an issue as it is happening when the Lobby shows 71 players online and 4 live games running.

There is definitely a snag somewhere in the passing of information or some sort of time out being too finely tweeked!!

Maybe its just my phone but almost every time I try to take a turn all troops, log etc disappears if I move too quickly and i dont wait for the game to process my last action e.g when I attack or place troops and there is a lag. And then sometimes im just planning my next move and it still does it. I then have to exit out of the game and re-enter only for it to do the same. I haven't played a real time game since the server change because I'd probably just be opening myself up for missing turns and wasting points

Well Syg I think you shouldn't shy away from live games for that reason... it could be helpful to know more in order to fix it, and we can always return your points/end the game if it glitches on you.

Played a couple yesterday and it happened a few times in that the troops on the map were still visible but everything below the map e.g chat, troop counts etc disappeared. Before the server change I experienced everything disappearing but this could be solved by changing from the chat tab to the log tabs. Now that doesn't work so its a matter of exiting the match and re-entering or if I wait long enough it all comes back to normal, anywhere from 30secs to a couple of minutes.

Now I have zero knowledge of programming language so have no suggestions in that regard but if my explanations are too vague feel free to seek clarification :)

I've had player information (troop count, turn bonuses, cards, etc) disappear a few times. A reload was all I needed to fix it.

I too get Player info, chat & colours disappearing even when not interacting, as explained above, I'm refreshing constantly!

However, when I ask other players in the game if they are getting this, they say no. I'm not sure if it could be that they were USA residents and straight from the main USA (New York) server and if so, perhaps it's the gateway / proxy servers that are causing the problem to the rest of the world.

Perhaps we should ask everyone with a problem to provide their Country location?

When the server first changed, I believed I was running smooth... thought the little freezes and glitches were just server refresh issues due to change over!

Was refreshing all the time last night so asked the whole board where they were from and if any freezing up? The result was, all USA had no freezing up and all Europe did.

I have the chat saved on other computer if required?

Might be worth checking with new server and ask how they distribute to the www?

The server is located in NY, so yes, there is more latency to the European countries (or any countries outside of the USA, for that matter), but I am fairly certain the freezes are not related to that. How many people did you actually ask, because it could as well be a coincidence. I will check the logs, but I am pretty sure I won't really find anything there.

*goes to check the logs*

There are some bandwith peaks, but nothing out of the ordinary. The CPU is running on 30% so I see no reason why this would be happening. How would you explain the "freezes"? I am not entirely sure what you mean with that and if I get a better idea of what's happening, it might be easier to pinpoint the cause of it.

I'll try to explain it better.

First, all people in all games I ask if theirs sticks or freezes say "No" if USA and "Yes" if elsewhere. I haven't tried anyone from Canada or S.America yet!

What I call freezing means;
1) Screen does not refresh and timer runs to 00:00 and stays there.
2) When troop reinforcements are available at start of turn, the box to choose how many to place appears, but refuses to allow [Place Reinforcements]. (happens almost every placement, until refreshed).
3) The Player info (bottom left) and Chat (bottom right) disappear leaving a grey background. (normally a temporary glitch a few times each game)
4) All troop circles disappear, leaving map & numbers only. (I class this as an un-completed refresh).
5) Blank screen after refresh. (I class this as a failed refresh).

Any or all of the above lists can happen in every game.
I use the site on 3 different computers, one of which is state of the art (Super fast, Super big on RAM, Graphics & Processor as well as Ultra Modern), with exactly the same problems on all. Also used IE & Chrome.

I have some screen shot images to add as examples, but don't know how to use the (+Spoiler+)! Any info on this?

I hit spoiler button and then anyhing that I put between the (spoiler)--------------(spoiler) is hidden, it will not show up in the preview but it will be in the post. Try to put in anyword...like HI...and you see this works.
As for images, do the same, but you need to hit that little icon that looks like a framed image called "Image" and put in a direct link to your image(URL).

So here how it will look:

(spoiler)(img=http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/6324/p92b.jpg) (/spoiler)

I had to change the brackets from " [ " to " ( "

If you do not put it the image in the spoiler then it will fill the post up with the image and that to me is just rude for everybody to have wait for the image to "fill in" or look at when they view my post.

I haven't experienced any freezing, but I did see something weird - elysium reported it first - when doing background checks.

I backtracked it, but couldn't find the source, as then everything just worked again.
It seems that an ajax call does not always come to the file.

So when the javascript does ajax(url: myfile.php, succes:f() { alert(result) }), than putting a die("test";) in the top if myfile.php will not give a result message, but will do nothing instead.

That's how far I came :S
