What purpose do the ranks serve?

Okay I am new here (just joined yesterday). So other than just "bragging rights" what incentive is there to buy ranks. Are games worth more reward tokens/points if you are higher ranked?

Also, if you do buy a rank, does the amount you spent come off of what it takes to buy further ranks? If not, it appears beneficial to just save up points and tokens and buy the highest rank possible later.

Vanity is the only reason they are there.

The tokens you pay will be lost, so for those you can sometimes decide to wait. Points however can only be won or lost by winning or losing games respectively.

Just a F.Y.I...you will not lose anything but tokens when you buy your rank...unless you are really a great player...you will never run out of tokens...as for the points you earn (Winning) you can only lose them by not winning your games...they will be (-) from your points, tokens just keep adding up after each game. Look at the game log and you will know how much of each you won or how many points you win or lose.

The higher the rank of the player (you do not have to show the rank...game will know) the more points you will get from them...even if they did not buy the rank. You can get a lot of points from a "Basic" cause they really are a "Staff Sargent"...so why hide your rank?

The main purpose of a rank is that it's soo shiny you can use it to annoy or blind Fendi (the latter if it's really shiny).
