So I was playing a long term game on world expanded and this person by the name of dicktator2 which the round before had a +3-4 troop bonus and to territories were completely controlled by him I can't remember entirely comes out of nowhere and defeats all of the remaining players, granite it couldn't have been cards because it was only a plus 12-20 troop bonus and at the end of the game he had 186 troops which is an impossibility because he only had about 25-36 troops again I didn't pay attention all that much. Anyway I want to make sure that his win was legitimate and if an admin could help that would be great. :) Heres the link to the game if that helps.

The game is won legit for as far as I can tell.

MAPS played in it too, and he's a moderator, so I am quite sure he won it fair.

The card turn in was 25 when he started.
After each kill it gets 5 or 10 (double turn in) higher.

If you time it right, it goes REALLY fast.

Try paying attention, you might learn alot :)

Hey MrTenal, you can check what happened by opening up the "Game Log" tab, where the chat is. If you look back, you can see just how the game ended.

Big games like this often end in this way, don't underestimate the importance of cards!

it was legit, and either though i dont like dicktator personally, he is a fair player. he got a double turn in after eliminating purple, so he got many troops.

Ah I see it just seemed like he was bragging about it so to be stereotypical of cheaters he had bragged it just seemed odd

(Just for good measure: to the left of the "Start Playing!" thingy in the top of the screen, there is a link to "Information".
It contains lots of information, like who the admins (staff) are.)

Here's how you kill yourself (and hopefully your victim) in an increasing card bonus game:

Don't mind the card bonus at all, just go ahead and conquer your precious continent that gives you 2 or 3 bonus troops per round. Attack everybody that you deem to be "too powerful". Don't be deterred by the fact that you're losing most of your troops which makes you an attractive target. Never listen to more experienced players, they're just trying to trick you into doing something sensible.
And most of all: If you lose it's never your fault! There is absolutely no need to rethink your "strategy" or even have a look at the game log. It doesn't contain any useful information for you anyway. Instead, go cry to the admins.

I hope this tutorial has helped those of you who didn't know how to suicide.

Funny!!! dicktator!!! Some players just do not have your greatness!  Each of us have a learning scale here on this site and are trying to learn the basics...what is this for?...How did that happen?

I remember when I first started ...I had never played in any on-line game in my life!  Now I am making maps and training players and I am on the staff here...this was done with-in the year from when I started.

You sound a lot like my son and his best friend...they play here also...Diddly and Paddlin.  I have to remind them each player has "?" and they are not crying to the Admin., they are just wondering how.

Relax and enjoy D12!!! I do!!!

i don't disagree with you here. i am trying to relax and enjoy and most of the time i succeed. i might be overreacting but if one player keeps making the same mistake over and over again and you are usually the one that suffers the most, you start losing your patience.

Hey, I'm not trying to complain to the admins it just looked funny alright, I have played my share of games win or lose but none of them had turned out that drastically, that fast. You don't have to be a dick about it, I'm not one to bitch to admins that often, it just looked sketchy. No I'm not "yelling at the screen" I'm not even mad it just looked odd and now that it has been cleared up I now know that it was fair game and I can move on with my life. Thank You.
