I can easily adapt it for 16 players. Keeping almost the same exact format, except for 1 game that has to be repeated twice, so that everyone will play 25 games instead of 24, and the repeated game will be – for everyone – on a 6-player map.
Not the same exact map for everyone though, but still things will remain perfectly equal and fair.

I think it's the best thing to do if you do not want to wait in eternity!

So far 14 have subscribed, but 1 is being absent atm, so we still need 2 (or 3) players more,
assuming you guys agree to reduce this tournament to 16 participants.
