Figured that with the introduction of this new forum, as per suggestion by /// @ProblemChild96 https://dominating12.com/forums/6/suggestions-feedback/3270/tournament-forum/post/57492#post-57492 \\\ it would be good to have a thread in which people can vocalise what kind of tournaments they actually want to see and participate in.

Anything can be suggested; whether it'll become reality is of course still to be seen.

Also.............. first thread in the new forum!

I play mostly capped cards so I like Dima's tournaments the best but I also enjoy a lot of hoodlums, I like the map specialist tournaments and even tho I'm not much of a capitals player I enjoy the capitals tournaments And I like the way he sets up the 1v1 double elimination tournament

i would like a tourney with 20 games on 20 different maps.
individual deathmatch games with 5 or 6 players per game, depending on map size. therefore ideal total number of players would be 30 (or 60)
all games chained, ascending but capped at 30, no fog.
game players set randomly until the last 3 games where those players mathematically eliminated would play in same games. the others still with a chance would be placed randomly. if by the last game there are 5 or less with chance to win those players would be placed in last game, everyone else randomly placed.
each game points awarded as follows:
5 person games       6 person games
no show  -5           no show  -5
          5th        0           6th      0
          4th        5           5th      5
          3rd       10          4th      10
          2nd       15          3rd      15
          1st       25          2nd     25
                                1st      35
most cumulative points wins tourney

20 maps;
     1     world classic
     2     united states
     3     world expanded
     4     mediterranean states
     5     falkland islands
     6     balkan peninsula
     7     black sea
     8     great britain and ireland
     9     north america
    10     italia
     11    anchor bay
     12    atlantis
     13    battle of the elements
     14    solar system
     15    westeros and essos
     16    south africa
     17    world double
     18    tor
     19    new zealand
     20    ancient greece

i'm sure there are other details i didn't cover but just throwing out an idea

Is it possible for there to be noob tournaments so people who are new and aren't that good can participate and maybe win some rewards?

I would like to play a variety of game types, specifically, assassination, domination, capitals and deathmatch. Also, I think it would be fun to try different maps. Maybe have them coincide with the game types. Like a 1 on 1 assassination game could be in a small map, Domination a larger one, capitals, maybe the classic map and then deathmatch a mixed bag.
