I have just renamed this thread to match the map's new name:
Volga & Don Rivers (HD).
@Dima: We're still having the same problem: two different images of the same map. The game interface has a "larger" and "smaller" option to adjust the zoom; the two images aren't supposed to have different graphics. Furthermore, the graphics development progresses through discussion in the forum; if there are two different images, we need two separate discussions, which takes twice as much effort and time. Furthermore, everything becomes very confusing: people no longer know which image they're commenting on.
You have been specifically asked not to create two different images and you did it. Not only that, after all the discussion you simply updated the map your own way, without informing anyone of the occurred changes. You apparently think it's your own website and you can do whatever you want, which is what none of us would ever do. We always work through confrontation and agreement. Or at least we inform the others when we independently change something.
So, here the 2 images recently uploaded by Dima:
"Large A" looks better in my opinion, so I can derive the smaller view from it, by simply scaling the image, with no significant loss of quality:
Please, notice how the background image in the middle is more detailed in "Small A" than it is in "Small B", so basically the idea of working on 2 separate images to preserve the graphic quality doesn't stand. Many many small details are different between the two versions and there's absolutely no reason for that.
I'll update all this map's images to version A, when I have time.
