Very large map
117 territories
at Bishops request for a perfect amount of territories for a 9 player game.

All 27 regions are real political regions.
I try to my best to keep real location maps hopefully acceptable enough for someone (players) from that location.
not all major rivers or mountains will be used, but the ones chosen are there for gameplay purpose and why they were chosen.
from the last edit, i took on the critiques of the title, font or colour font, symbols etc. kind of mix and matching what i felt was easier to edit as well as keep with whatever style i was going with at the time.
Title could have been just Bulgaria, I ended up with Battleground Bulgaria after reading at one time thru research that through history it was just that.
the map was intentionally meant to be 117 territories but somehow i musta got tired and lost focus and it was 108 territories instead on my first release in the map dabble thread, which i didn't even notice until going ahead to input it into the system to test it for gameplay. so, there was some added new territories, but luckily experience helps.
9 territories were added with not too much pain, to give up on it lol.

Great, with some territories there are problems with the length of the names and it's really hard to package it..,the rivers seem to me that you changed the color of the rivers to the right ones, in my opinion this map is 99% finished, it's up to you if you want any shade here and there there to enter. All the best Hood

Excellent! Congrats Hoodlum.
Finally we have got a well sized map for 9-player games! I have been waiting this for long time.
Also, cool name Battleground Bulgaria! I can't wait to play it.

The mountain range between Musala and Pazardzhik if seen in perspective looks like it has got a gap in the middle.
Between Berkovitsa and Kostinbrod it is clear, but perhaps I would make that small light-green triangle the same colour of the other region (purple-brown), it would be even more clear imo... The green triangle confuses me a bit.

ah yes i can see it. ill sort out my layers for this map soon, it's messy, and ill get to those

*edit done. didn't recolour that triangle looking area, but i moved something around there, text and mountains i think.
i had two versions of the map with the lesser and the more added territories and i kept getting confused with which copiest to edit ha.
mountain gap looking issue should look better now. there were a few territory lines connected to the mountains that i wanted to fix up. ill probably find something else when i take another look at it later.

I liked better the rivers colour as it was before though.

Yeah that's true, but it doesn't apply to this map!
