The basic idea is this:
A normal dice roll depends on 5 random numbers - one for each die.
Every random number depends on the microtime of the roll.
So if you click an instance of a second later, this will give different results.
Because the time it takes you to click and the time it takes you to reach the server, a dice roll is completely unpredictable.
(Note that this is the global idea, reality is a bit more difficult).
