Super-continents on the world expanded would be cool (North America, South America, Europe etc). So you get more bonuses for holding all of a super continent. It would bring more action to that map so people dont just let others slowly take one like it happens now

Raising the bonuses doesn't help so much. When a region (or super-region) is too hard to defend, you don't conquer it because you know your opponents can break you... So, if the bonus is higher is even worst, because now you are sure that your opponents will break you! You will never try to conquer it.

Maps with pretty high connectivity need to stay with pretty low bonuses.

Word Expanded is a respectable one. I like that map. The most interesting super-regions are so South America and Australia + Indonesia, having only three borders. Not the only ones. But the others have more borders and they are bigger. So in some senses it's a taste of the game-play of the standard World map. But it is better than that in my opinion for having connections between Australia and Africa, and also between Europe and S.A.

Take a look to the Italy map please. I have mostly followed the scheme of "pretty high connectivity and pretty low bonuses. But the interesting super-regions are Many, and the combined bonuses are interesting! I hope you will appreciate my effort ;)
